This powder mixture contains a combination of the following alkaline mineral salts used to treat acidosis. They include: calcium citrate, magnesium citrate, potassium citrate and zinc picolinate. The citrate forms are used for two reasons. The first is they are highly absorbable and secondly once absorbed into your circulation the citrate is metabolised into bicarbonate thus providing the bicarbonate where it is needed to neutralise any acids while the basic minerals also provide a neutralising effect. The dose required is 1g three times a day mixted in water. This dose provides: 280mg calcium, 60mg magnesium, 500mg potassium and 22mg zinc. It also contains 666IU Vit D and trace amounts of sodium ascorbate and Vit E as fillers. This product is dairy, gluten and yeast free.
