Our Lugols iodine solution contains 5% iodine and 10% potassium iodide in purified water according to the original formula. It may be used as a iodine supplement or to purify drinking water.

The recommended dose is 6 to 8 drops a day for 3 months only. Iodine levels must be monitored if being used for longer periods as elevated levels can be harmful.
